Hey, I got a great idea! Lets turn EVERY road in the DFW area into a construction zone for two years! People will have to spend hours trying to get to and from work, will get so frustrated they try to commit Cascadicide, will sit at a standstill in traffic and pick their noses in front of the kids.... A LARGE time will be had by all!!!!!

Freightliner finally finished my truck Tuesday evening but not before snapping my right mudflap hanger off an inch above the socket and claiming I brought it in like that. Cough! I swear if I never see the inside of Tulsa Freightliner again it will be too soon. I think I'd rather push my truck to another dealer before messing with them again. Left Wednesday morning headed for Monroe, Oh with cheese. Scaled out at 79,200. Must be that Lead Cheese.

Didn't even make it out of Tulsa before the reefer started actting the fool. Breakdown sent me to a Thermo-King shop in Joplin and they promptly figured out it was a battery failure. Showed 12.6 volts but only load tested at 100 amps. After that it was pretty smooth sailing to my delivery and unloaded in barely two hours. Now I'm relaxing in my own bed while my laundry finishes up then its back in the truck around 7am. Does 14 hours count as hometime??

 

Hey Keith. Glad to see that you made it home! You're only staying for 14 hours though? Pretty hardcore. . . Give me a call when you're ready to tackle editing your HOS.

 

Gonna try to stay out till the beginning of April. Need to replenish my bank account. Besides, the only running vehicle I have is the V65 Sabre and I'm not hardcore enough to ride when the temps are in the teens!

My 2nd seat needed to get to Boston to take care of some personal business, and we were headed to Cali.

 

Latest to scan without requesting late trip is midnight thursday. My advice to all of you is try to save your late trips til you really need it cuz if nothing has changed, you only get 10 a year.
