Has anything changed in the lease contract since last year? Since my Mom's physical therapy is over at the end of the month, and I haven't found any decent work at home, I was tossing around the idea of leasing a new truck. My bud that got me to JCT originally has been hitting me up to got back to Western Express where he is now and lease (err...NO!)

So let me know about the base fixed costs on the 15's. I hear the 16's are due in Mar-Apr, any truth to that? Also did the base bay go up? It was .90 last year.

I have a '15 Cascadia Evo with a 10spd.. Variable payment is 22cpm + $120. The fixed cost is basicly the same. My physical damage insurance went from $75 on the '12 I used to have to $114.62 for the '15. The maintenance escrow is 8cpm for the '15.

The base bay has not gone up (I wish it would). That is true about the '16s. They will be getting KW's, Pete's, and Cascadia's. The KW'S and Pete's will be 10spd and all the Cascadia's will have the DT12 automated transmission.

The 2016's well start coming in in a couple of weeks. The base pay is still 90¢. I'm guessing the fixed costs is around $315, which includes the base payment of $120, all insurances, Qualcomm and driver legal (if you choose to get it). Add the $25 performance bond and ATBS (optional and not recommended).

ATBS not recommended? Hmmm... How low has the FS gone? It was .42-.46 last fall.

The reason I don't recommend is that they are expensive for what they do. And you have to pay extra for them to do your taxes. You can find a CPA fort much less. Better yet. DO IT YOURSELF.

Buy an accounting program designed for trucking and keep up to date.
The surcharge is currently 26¢ per mile.

HEY, That reminds me. I fired ATBS in November and the payment is STILL coming out my settlement. WAIT TIL MONDAY!! Somebody owes me some money!!

I'll sick Uncle Clyde on 'em. I will!! I ain't bluffin' about that. Just gotta figure out WHO to sic him on. When I addressed it in December JCT said it was ATBS, ATBS said it was JCT. My wife took over the books. She didn't do so well. I just took them back. ATBS is STILL coming OUT. Ooooooh! There's gonna be some phone callin' come Monday!!

If it's coming out of your settlement, then I would think the problem is JCT.

I agree with macho, but its probably something like the right hand never told the left hand and vise versa
