Took a week and half vacation. So I had dropped my trailer at the Houston Drop Yard. I get a preplan this afternoon and am told that there are two empties currently at the Houston drop yard. I get there only to find that there are no trailers. I make three laps (not a very big area to search) and not a single one. I'm told again that there are two trailers there and given the numbers. So, I go back over there after eating some dinner. And sure enough, no trailers. I ask the guard shack if JCT still uses them for a drop yard. He says yep. I ask if he has a way to search their records for trailers. He says yes and I give him the numbers. One of them hasn't been to that yard since 2012 and there is no record of the second ever being there. The only response I got from night dispatch was, well, we have a problem. So, went back to the Pilot (next to Loves off of 610) to park for the night while they figure this out.
