It was very nice meeting you guys in Sapulpa yesterday. I hope to see you out here soon. Sorry I wasn't able to visit that long. This toothache has had me laid up for a week. Oh, and NO! I didn't turn my truck in, lol. After the vicious dog attack tore off my right-hand bumper, I had to pimp my ride up a bit with a new chrome one. I'm SO tempted to get a rattle can of black primer and FIX it!

I should be home next week for some dental work. If I'm up to it, I plan on finishing up a project that I've been working on for a while. Without going into too much detail on here, I'm writing up a survival manual based on my experiences in helping out new lease-op drivers. Watch the JCT Facebook page for more info!

Anyone here know what the axle ratio is on the 2012 Cascadia? So far, the best answer I can find online is .253

    Omg...

Massive truck crash on 40wb in Sayre. Took us 25 minutes to get fire and emt here. They drug me away from the Prime drivers. Gonna see if I can sneak back up and talk to her.

Kicked to the curb. Everyone alive at least. I think the Prime drivers will be ok but Barbara is horribly injured. Could not see Iris as she was in the sleeper. Pray for them. The driver in the truck laying on its side with the trailer ripped in half was ok, just pinned in by the steering wheel. His co driver was walking down the highway westbound until we went and got him.

You can park on Lowe's Blvd. about a 1/2 mile away.

Never been on elogs before, so if I take 10 hr break outside receiver do I have to go on duty to enter the gate and unload or can I limp into the gate under 25mph and wait till unloading complete to start my hours. Thanks again.

Elogs are a tool to cover our butts. And if you were to ask any employee of JCT they will tell you to follow the rules. Nobody would go on a public forum and suggest other than strict adherence to the FMCSA rules should be followed.

    No detention, as expected. :biggrin_25517:

In happier news, we got a run out of Mass fairly quick, even though the trip included 300 miles of paid deadhead for only 800 paid loaded. I was impressed that they'd pay nearly 50% in empty miles on a trip just to get us out of the northeast.

Hopefully we'll get a longer trip in Wisconsin. I'm ready to head south.
