Is there a maximum limit for the maunt acct? If so, how much?

I would actually like the option to pay directly to the finance company.. So that way I can control how much comes out per week.

No limit on the maint account.

No option to get out of paying the variable lease. Seriously, don't overthink how the variable works. Its easy to keep track of week to week.

Didn't want to get out of paying the variable, as that will only happen when you own the truck.

I was referring to paying extra to the finance company i.e method of making payments, to pay off the truck faster

    Thanks for the answers!

Which is wrong and why I don't fuel at PFJ.

Any who. Stopped at the Loves in Lake Havasu, Az and while doing my post trip I noticed my steers where looking a little shy on tread. So, I took out the ol tread depth gauge and took several readings on both tires. Both tires had 3/32 of tread and regs say no less than 4/32 on a steer. So, since I was here for a break and no trucks being worked on ahead of me, got two new Michelin XZA3 put on.

Has anyone noticed that the new Carrier reefer units will set itself to continuous mode when on start/stop and the outside temp gets really hot. When I picked up the trailer in Lemoore it was on start/stop and when I stopped in Lake Havasu it was on continuous with it saying ProductShield on the lower screen. Woke up this morning and it was back on stop/start. Drove all day and when I stopped it was back on continuous and it now back on start/stop.

I thought a friend of mine was crazy when he told that is what his did, but I was like no way. It doesn't change itself and either you had looked at wrong or someone is missing with your unit while you are stopped. Then I saw it for myself and I'm like ok wow. This is neat.

It could be the office that is doing that. Those can be remote access controlled. They kept trying to turn one on that I had while it was being worked on cause I had a produce load on.

I have a load of cheese and so does my buddy. I think it the words "ProductShield" showing up is a feature of these new units. I'm sure the office has better things to do than remote change the settings on all these new Carrier units.

*Edit* After some research....the "ProductShield" is a feature of the Carrier units. When the ambient temperature gets above or below a set point in the computer, the unit automatically switches the unit from start/stop to continuous in order to maintain the set point. It will keep the unit in continuous mode til the ambient temperature have fallen or risen to within the range it was programmed.

So, basicly, when the temperature is 100+ degrees outside, the unit says hey, its really hot outside and i need to keep this cheese at 28 degrees. It will be easier on me if just stay turned on rather than turn on and off every few minutes. Once it cools down outside, I can take a break on go back to auto start/stop.
