Make sure all training videos are done before orientation. You will not be able to pick out a truck until you complete those videos. You can do them at home (recommended) or at the motel. JCT has a room setup at the motel with several computers for new comers to work on the videos. And you can do them during orientation (which seems to be the route most people choose for some reason).
You will save yourself alot of time by doing this. -
that is good to know thanks i feel a bitt better about his choice now he asked what i thought and i am not the on out there so i got me an educated opinion about it makes a difference
-
he has the vids they will be done before he leaves lol i am a full time student working on line my next class doesn't start until the 21st he has the comp and he hates the whole orientation thing so any time he can save himself hes good with i do know this much when comes time hes all biz no play good thing he has a live in shrink
-
That's a good mentally. Means he will do what he has to do to make money here. And that is run run run.
I personally try not to do a 34hr restart on the road. i dont like sitting. And I don't turn down loads. -
Now I am sorry one more thing we have read that they will not let you test drive the truck before you lease is this an accurate statement or no
-
I honestly can't answer that. I never asked when I went through orientation.
-
Did you test drive your truck or was yours brand new
-
My first truck here was used. At that time, the regular road test truck was in the shop. So, they used a couple of the lease trucks (2012 Cascadias) for the road test. I ended up leasing that truck. So, I guess that counts as a test drive. The truck.I have now is a '15 Cascadia and I got it with only 66k on it. I did not test drive my current truck.

Lol ok have you had any problems with them are they shop magnets or in pretty good share
