Well if I don't hear back from them then I prob won't be going anywhere for a while. If I leave jct I want to go local Cuz like I said eventhough the pay is ####... esp spending 3 weeks in cali doing cali to washington and back... as far as atmosphere idk any company that's over the road that Is better than jct.

Yeah, I agree. I always remind myself I'm buying a truck, no money down, doing long runs...which I love..and only having to worry about two tax levels. Hidden expenses covered by the JCT area benefit as well. I'm just hoping the Kenworth, Peterbilt, and Freightliner have created vehicles that will live to the million mile mark with a maintenance investment that will make it worth holding on for the long haul. After all, that's the point, is it not?
dhkwanderer Thanks this. -
The falling FSC was the sole reason I left JCT in May after nearly 1.5 years. Living in California and running mainly left coast freight, made it nearly impossible to bring home decent paychecks. As a company, there really is no better in terms of freight and the people in the office. But no matter how much I wish long runs and friendly and helpful office people could pay the bills, they cant. As others have said, a simple 10 cent raise in the base rate would do wonders, especially for drivers operating on the west coast.

I have a eleaf iStick 100W with a full size Subtank for use while rolling. I also have a custom built dripper series wired mod for use when stopped.
The dripper is a Budda Zephyr v2. Twin 20-ga 5/6 coils, about .15ohm.
And now back to our regularly scheduled thread, I'm getting an unexpected reset at the Pilot in Dunnigan,CA. Finally got a Loprino load to Salina, KS.
