Hey everyone, I'm currently an L/P with a nameless company out of Cedar Rapids, IA that has gold freightliners, I'm looking to make a change to a company that actually pays their L/Ps, I was curious, is JCT worth signing on the dotted line? It seems like it 50/50 as far as happy drivers. Thanks in advance and keep the dirty side down

I think it is. Of course, this is the first lp I've done, so have no other experiences to compare it to.

I put in 8 years with them. If you are not financially in a position to go get your own truck, JCT is a great option. They will keep you running. Like Steel Tiger said, run it like a business, and know your numbers.
dhkwanderer Thanks this. -
JCT offers a number of no cost perks to it's L/Ps. They basically pay for EVERYTHING except fuel and maintenance. Unfortunately that is also the excuse they use to justify their pay rate. It's not perfect, but you can definitely make money.
MachoCyclone and dhkwanderer Thank this. -
That's what has been grinding my gears about Crash and Roll Stunt Team, my ATBS accountant and I have basically deleted every expense except food and my $45 a month cell phone bill, and I'm still in the red, with an average of 3200 miles a week, if my truck isn't rolling, it isn't running, I have windows and an espar, but apparently it's fuel costs, according to them, that are killing my bottom line

JCT's variable payment is a great feature which allows you to control how much you make each pay period. When you're in the shop or on hometime, you don't have that huge fixed payment to make when your miles are low that week.

I'm no expert, but I could of swore that we are supposed to run the '15 IFTA sticker til the 31st. Where I am parked at there is one of our trucks with the '15 sticker removed and the '16 IFTA sticker in place. My understanding was that the '16 sticker doesn't take affect until Jan. 1. Am I wrong on that?
I have my '16 IFTA with me in the truck, just haven't put it on yet cause the '15 sticker is still good and plan to place the new one on the truck while I am home for Christmas. That way I can properly remove the old one and place the new one. Never saw the point in having all the old IFTA stickers still on a truck and can stand to see partial stickers still on. -
MachoCyclone Thanks this.
