I will say this: JCT does indeed listen to driver concerns as evidenced by this latest change.

I don't believe JCT ever tries to "purposefully" or willingly screw over any drivers. (Let's not bring up stuff from years ago.)

Some new management, new policies, programs and procedures have tried to have the driver's best interest in mind.....all 800 of them. You're never going to pleaseEVERYBODY ALL THE TIME, no matter what. JCT could offer drivers a free truck and ppl will still gripe and moan about SOMETHING.

I think this just shows that JCT values it's driver opinions and makes adjustments where merited.

I'll agree with that also. That is one the reasons I'm in such conflict between staying and accepting a regional position elsewhere.

It certainly raised my eyebrow when I heard the qc message play. 15 cpm back was certainly something I never expected to happen. Glad I never tossed away my old pilot card

Well ####.....picked up a nail in a drive tire somewhere along the highway. Now I sit at the Prosser, Wa rest area waiting for road service. There goes my last hour of drive time.

Good thing is that another driver told me over the radio and was able to pull over before damaging the rim.

A prime example is the way they spec the trucks compared to the 2013 and earlier. Setting up the trucks for fuel economy as opposed to horsepower. Amenities like fridges, led lights (Freightliner) tv brackets, APUs, etc.

And before you complain about the APU, in the past you had to buy one, be qualified to get one, and it was an additional fixed cost.
Things are definitely moving along, albeit sometimes a bit slow, but nonetheless, they are attempting to help the drivers out.

Speaking of apu I have the tk and it has a new habit of kicking the starter a few times before actually starting. What could cause that? It only does it when it's charging the battery not when I run the ac. It sounds like when you turn key but not let the mother turn over completely.

    Sorry, driver...not mechanic. LOL

    Seriously, I don't have a clue. That's what I pay a mechanic for.
