The problem I have with the tire pass is that I never start my day at a Loves so my pressures are running high due to hear from rolling. I like the concept, it's convenient but not always practical to do in the middle of your drive shift

Yet, see drivers do just that and let air out thinking it's over inflated and then wonder why the tire blows leaving them in the side of the road.

How long should you let a tire cool down before you check the pressure? I generally let mine cool down over night but sometimes it just don't plan out the way you want.

Thank you just did not know how long it should cool down. Talked to a tire pass guy and he said it don't matter there is only a few pounds different. Did not believe him.

That tire pass clown has no clue...heated tires can be substantially more psi than a cold tire..lol...

During spring and fall you can expect around 10 psi different. During the summer heat you can see 15 - 20 psi difference in super singles at least. In Las Vegas I had a 24 lb difference when I had stopped at the Petro next to the speedway.

That's a good guide but also keep ambient temperature in mind. If you're in Phoenix in August, gonna take longer to cool down
