Running with JCT, Part Deux

Two days early for delivery in Stockton, Ca. I will be getting a 34 here at the Loves in Ripon, Ca. Stop by and say hi if passing through over the weekend.

Ran from Aurburndale, FL to present location in a total of 48hrs of drive time. That's actual driving time. Four and half days total time.

 

FML, I just reread the posts about the tire cooling thing. Didn't realize y'all addressed the ambient temp already. What I get for skimming thru instead of reading thoroughly. LOL

 

Does anyone on here know what time they close the gate in lake wales. Fl?Theyre telling me to drop my empty there and if i remember correctly i had to wait untill someone showed at 4am. Last time i dropped there.

 

They are supposed to be 24 hours, but they seem to make their own nighttime schedule some times.

What time do you deliver and where?

 

Im in arcadia set for 1530 today and going to drop my empty in lake wales on my way home. I called Fl Nat. She said i cant drop unless im picking up a load which i know is a lie because i drop there everytime i go home unless they changed the rules since december. Dispatch wouldnt reply to this question.

 

That sounds odd..a customer who refuses an mt trl??..sounds like possibly that person doesn't know what they're saying...lol...unless like you said they changed..

 

Maybe they have more JCT trailers than needed?

 

Yeah, no. We drop trailers there all the time. Another option is to drop at Brad's tire shop in Davenport. I seem to use that place more often lately.

 

We did lose slot spots there this year. Could be a space issue

 

There is always Coca-Cola in Auburndale to possibly drop the empty. When I picked up this load there in the 29th, they were short trailers for us.
