I average $800-1k in fuel costs for 3500 miles in a pay period. I'm happy for the consistent miles, but I'm wondering if I'm above average on fuel costs for that many miles. I fuel up where it's cheap and only buy enough expensive stuff to get me to the cheap stuff.
At 1k our fsc only paid for little over half that. I lost $400 in profit to fuel. I guess I'm fishing for better fuel strategies than what I'm currently using. -
What's your mpg? I have a steady average of 7.8 mpg. This load I had 9.8 so with a the fsc and the cheap fuel I got in Oklahoma I was able to make about 50 bucks on fuel. Of course that is not the usual.

The detention macro has made it easier to get detention pay. Got detention for the Fry's screw up and got for the wait at Tyson in Vernon. The Fry's screw up was in Tolleson, Az and it was they were saying my appt. was the day prior and spent 9 hours there. And, at Tyson in Vernon, Tx, the load was ready 8 hours after the final time.
