Running with JCT, Part Deux

How far are from your house. I would have parked at home, delivered, then went back home.

 

Sometimes when the DMs put in for driver pay, it doesn't go through for several reasons: That trip hasn't been paid yet. Submitted but for whatever reason didn't come out on payroll. Could be sitting on payroll screen but didn't get processed. Couple of other reasons.
If that happens, simply contact either by phone or q-comm the info as a reminder and have them resubmit it.

If they tell you they'll pay you for something, they will. Sometimes its a pain to get it, but keep an eye on settlements and contact that person or payroll.

 

Sometimes OTR drivers deliver those local deliveries in exchange for dropping their loads early, then they are usually followed by an awesome load out of CA or AZ

 

I got to Memphis yesterday at 9am with 25 mins left on my 70 and 15 mins to consignee. So I only had enough time to get to receiver if they changed appts for me. I got 5 hrs back this morning but didn't want to drive the 160 miles roundtrip today just to be home for 12-14 hrs. If I had the hours on my 70 yesterday I just would of took the load home but didn't have the hours to do this. Tried to get someone to pick me up but they had to work and could only take me one way so would not have ride back to truck.

I did get a hotel last night so didn't have to sit in truck for 40 hrs. Was nice having a TV and free wifi.

 

Your shop receipt for the pm would cover your parking. Been there twice in the past two weeks and no trouble what so ever. Just am FYI for future.

Last time I was there was about 2 years ago. My truck was broken into and my gps, cb, peoplenet, and laptop was stolen while I was taking a shower . Ever since then, I refuse to go to those TA's.

 

The westside is no longer a "TA" but is a Petro. (I know same thing. LoL) I have parked there 3 times in the last 2 weeks and had no troubles. They are currently putting in a CNG refill station as well there. Talked to a security officer there and they are trying to really improve the reputation there as well and "Are trying our best".

 

That may be all and good and true, but for me, it will still be awhile before I go back over there. Having your truck broke into tends to make you not go back.

Anywho......PM is done. Time for my free shower, then some food and a movie.

 

Right.... Can understand that. Was just giving info out. Didn't know which one that you had that happened in either.
