The low down on the new Cascadias.
They bought 300 2017 Cascadias. They agreed on prices with Freightliner for the 300 2014 (1st generation) Cascadias to be sold back to Freightliner. The priority is to replace the 300 14's with the 300 17's.
Not every driver in a 2014 wants to trade up so that leaves a handful of 2017s available to other drivers. So if you're denied a new 17, odds are that's why.
JCT has received delivery of 299 of the 300 17s already. Paperwork and permits, installation of APU, decals, q com are holding up the release also.
The one remaining Cascadia will come in later. It will be the new style 2018 Cascadia.
Running with JCT, Part Deux

CannonballAA Thanks this. -
But...
What if it's blue. Lol -
Got my apu fixed. Reason why is whould shut down at radom is a wire for the temp sensor would shake loose when the apu is running and loose connection for a few seconds. The wire never completely came off the sensor. When i told the tech it would happen at radom he checked it and sure enough that was it. He said most of the time when he gets someone come in with random overheat shutdowns thats the problem.

New things are so much fun.
But second run stuff is always better -
That driver is a buddy of mine. Told him I wasn't interested so he went upstairs and arranged to get it. He'll be paying his off about the time the new one comes in. We don't know what color it'll be yet.
CannonballAA Thanks this. -
I'd want a blue one
