Thanks .. I did look at that .. seems like it is tight. The Cooling system is still under warranty, so will hopefully find out from Freightliner (near my house) on Weds or Thurs.

    Jar-Head Thanks this.

Yes, friend of mine has diesel APU and seems to be weird stuff goes wrong with it every now and then but there is usually something you can do to fix it temporally to get by. With .. Mine.. it's just batteries and electric components not as tinker friendly as the diesel..

That RM Relay is some kind of a body roll sensor. Ours goes off when it gets wet lol. Freightliner told us not to worry about that unless it stays on. We have an Idle-free APU so I can't help with that. Sorry.

Just found out today that Schneider is giving us a $10,000 sign on bonus for team choice as new lease operators. That's in addition to the matching security deposit, two free lease payments and the $1,400 they are putting into the maintenance account to start. Looking forward to the choice plan and the new T680.

Sign on bonus is used to retain drivers over a longer periods of time. They'll get that 10k over a period of a year.

Was at home for 3 and half days last week. Got the PM done and A.C. fixed on the truck. As it turns out there is conflicting info with what happen to my Air. Freightliner shop said their was metal shavings in the lines, that the air blower blew out and caused the compressor to seize up! I ask if it was covered under warranty they said no because who ever replaced the compressor before (Schneider shop) should have caught it.. I'm like okayyyy.. how much? They said $2900.00 to fix it... Gulp! Hell no! So had them finish PM and bobtailed my ### back to SNI. Asked SNI to see what was going on. They checked it out and said that it seem like the compressor (even tho it was new) and few other AC components were just gone bad including the blower and expansion valves. Anyway they fixed it all up ..NO CHARGE! cool!!!.. Crazy stuff when it comes to getting the truck fixed. I'm thinking best way for me to do this is just use my own maintenance money and get SNI to do my PM's and small repairs .. I trust them more! Then use my SFI maintenance for Major Repairs, tires and roadside.

After home time, grabbed load going to Oregon, then a short load to Yakima WA. Gross a little over $3000 this week with 3 1/2 days off .. looks like I will still make a check this week about $800 so no need to use my vacation pay (extra paid into my truck). Not bad for taking time off!! I can live with that. Hope to take about week off for the 4th ..will see.

After last drop in Yakima I picked a load (relay from Canada) heading to Reno NV. Then picked another load going to Apple Valley CA. Right back by my house.. Forgot my shaving kit at home so gotta grab that and give the wife a kiss! LOL

Keep on trucken down the road...
