Actually the bonuses are paid 20% every two weeks for 20 weeks. $10,000 is $2,000 paid two weeks from start date then $1,600 two weeks later, $1,280, $944 and so on. Five months to get the entire bonus and we did not even expect it. Being able to chose your loads and where you run is the main reason for choosing Schneider. Plus following a lot of great threads on here.

Made delivery in Reno so I get to sleep in tomorrow! Yahoo! Then picking up my next load around noon, whopping 7200 LB and heading back home for a quick stop.. Haven't picked anything after that so will be checking the load board out in a few minutes!

Running on and busy out here in the West! Spent some time at home and out again. Finally going to break away from the west region tho and head toward Indian tomorrow with a high paying Haz load.

atruckr, do you do better in the midwest, west, or east? Seems like you're finding some good loads going from the midwest to the west coast. Being from Ohio, I prefer to run the midwest, and occasional west coast.
Far NE is not bad like upper New York, but prefer to say out of the big cities.

    atruckr Thanks this.

Actually I have done well in the west the last few weeks and spent time at home (at least a night over) every week. To my surprise! ...Not sure exactly why?? I have taken to putting a lot more thought in my planning/picking of loads and there seems to be more choices on load board now. The West is bit tricky in my opinion but I seem to be making it work. I do like the Midwest and feel same as you about NE, however, have been known to grab loads out of Baltimore, Long Island NY and Jersey a few times.

Kinda like what I have done the last few months.... Stick around the house in the West and if I happen upon a really great paying load going to Midwest or East I pounce on it and then try to work my self right back to West again!

My take home before taxes for the month of May ..$8638.00.. keep in mine there was 5 pay days in May. That was all West Side work and stopping by the house. Liking that!
