The reason they need drivers in the west is because there is nothing going there from anyplace besides other states in the west. I know every now and then but not many. And the ones that go to California pay less than a dollar a mile. I can't find loads often. I don't understand why the loads out pay so little.

That is good to know.. ! It is hard to believe they are short.. But then again there seems to be a shortage of drivers all over i guess..

Back at it! Other than running a short load near my house on Friday I been on a 6 day sabbatical. aahhh !! Felt good! Had our 4th early and celebrated with many of our friends and family. Good times..

As much as I enjoy being home it feels good to be back on the road. Grabbed a short load going North toward Stockton CA then picking up and heading to Utah!

Was nothing much I needed to get done on my truck except for the on-going problem with the Tri-Pac E that needs to be fixed. Stopped by Thermo King on my time off and they said they were booked for the next week.. I'm like...whatever! Wasn't going to deal with that so will save getting the Tri-pac fixed for another day..

    Enjoy the holiday!

If you ever get out this way, I highly recommend Thermo king in Chattanooga. Good folks and can usually get you right in. I'm sure there are others along your running area that will do the same thing.

Thanks for the recommend! Yeah I'm thinking about checking other TK where I'm at and see what they will say. Unfortunately it's now full blown summer and TK all over might be a bit busy.. Will see ..

Batteries seem like they can't hold a charge or not getting charged?? Will run about 20 minutes blowing cool air and then shuts down and the battery low light comes on. Last visit to TK they said problem was the smart charger module and replaced it. Basically, they said it was trying to run off the truck batteries because the smart charger wasn't working and the truck puts a stop on that shutting it down trying to conserve it's own power. Bottom line that didn't' solve the problem! When i first got it back they said the truck would have to run down the road a few hours to get it charged up so couldn't really test it before leaving. Oh well! Will get it fixed eventually.. Unfortunately right now it's 100 degrees here in NV and gotta idle the truck to stay alive!!! :biggrin_25523:

Do you have the AGM batteries in it? Or are they the cheap ones? Kinda sounds like thr batteries themselves might be the issue. How handy are you with a multimeter and a schematic?

That's what I been thinking "it is the batteries"... will have to pop the cover to see if i can tell what kind they are. I have some knowledge in electrical, can use a multimeter and for most part can read any set of drawings. What ya thinking..
