Ran out those 500 miles made delivery in UT. Now headed back down to southern CA on 17000 lb load out of UT about 30 miles from my drop. After that I picked 3 more loads running back and forth Phoinix to Fontana area. This week is going kinda suck revenue wise. Still make a check, but not what I has shooting for.

Got jammed up picking loads in OR ended up spending to much time sitting. It happens .. Sometimes the loads just don't flow together very well for me and I end up fumbling around, then sometimes it's like bam! Hit the jackpot, and you find 4 loads in a row that go together perfectly and makes great money! It seems load schedules get weird around the holidays. Hard to explain, just an observation!

 

Dropping in Phoenix then Picking up and head back to Southern Cal.. Easy money today..but hot as ..no.. hotter than hell out here ..whew!

 

That's what that smell is!!! I was wondering where it was coming from!

 

Made my drop .. No MT's.. imagine that! Sent me to another location about 2 miles from my pick up (which is good) but place was locked down nobody home.. Could put my hand on the MT that I was suppose PU but couldn't get in the gate! CRAAAAPPP! So screw it! I decided to bobtail to customer and see if they would let me PU the load. (pre loaded trailer) Get to customer only to be met with and armed guard telling me "With an MT, or bobtail, don't matter, nobody is receiving or picking up loads here on Sundays"! HOLY CRAAPPP! WHAT THE.... Now waiting on SNI to let me know what is going on??

Been waiting about an hour now on SNI.. If it is cancelled I should get an easy $150 bucks.. But then would have to go back to the drawing board and find another load if there is any I can pick up this late in the game... Come on Schny hurry up!!

 

They withdrawn the load..ugghhh!

 

After they cancelled.. I bobtail it back to within distance to pick a load out of Southern Cal so I can at least ad one more load to this weeks revenue. There was nothing available to get that done where I was. Sucks! But better than sitting and waiting until tomorrow for what might be? Better to go with what I know can be!
