From Fort Wayne IN, went on down to southern KY to End the week's pay period on Monday... Tuesday picked up a load about 60 miles from drop, a nice 2100lb load of pillows and ran that to Burlington NJ. Dropped that yesterday (hump day : )) and picked up out of Delaware 27000lb heading to Wisconsin! Just truckin along..
Thank God Tomorrow is Friday! Good pay this week after pretty slow couple weeks in middle of the month..
Here are the numbers for Sept.
Out of my settlement is deducted.. Health ins, Truck Ins, Truck Payment, maintenance and extra $100 I pay on my Truck note, that comes out to be around $1245 a week.. Then Fuel costs can vary depending, but that is usually between $1200 and $1800 a week. And then at end of the month is fuel taxes and that can vary depending on where you run..mine is between $0 and $100.. If I run in Oregon to much it is between $200 and $500
Sept 4th- Revenue $4400.00 Take Home -$1744.00
Sept 11th- Revenue $3440.00 Take Home -$650.00
Sept 18th Revenue $3860.00 Take Home- $1133.00
Sept 25th Revenue $5120.00 Take Home- $2423.00
Yep! Not my best month but after 1 year and 7 months as IC I'm still loving it!![]()

What is the extra $100 to the truck note for? Are you trying to pay it off quicker? or, is that for a vacation week?

Hi Friend!
I'm considering the SNI Choice program. I was a CRE L/O 8 years ago and hated not having input into how and where I ran. (It was CRE. One of the worst places to lease a truck, but I was new to trucking, I didn't know anything.) I'm with IDC now (company driver) and it's a good company, but I have 15K in the bank and I think I'm ready to do my own thing again. Just a quick question. I live in Denver. Does this pretty much mean I will be taking cheap freight out of the house (East I hope) and then running around doing higher paying regional stuff in the midwest until I work my way back to Denver? Denver is a weird place for freight, that I know. Thanks in advance! Love your thread! -
Yeah freight coming out of Denver pretty much sucks, but you can take something fairly short out say to Ks. or somewhere in that area. Freight going into Denver usually pays pretty well.
