Made it to the house ..time to get a little R&R, shopping, supply and clean up the truck to prepare for my next tour.

Hoping the winter is going to back down as we go into March.. So far not looking like it, but it can't go on forever! Is so much easier to plan your routes during the spring, summer and fall those are the seasons I make the most for obvious reason.

    Stay Safe!

Hey Hey! Still here running along! After my last post, went out for about a week and broke a tooth, ouch! Had come back home .. Then went out again and unfortunately my pops passed passed away, I miss him much!. Returned home again for awhile to take care of things and comfort my mom as much as I can and be sure she was doing ok.

Then was needing some work to be done on the truck. Last time the truck was inspected, my bud at the Fontana SNI OC brought to my attention there were some oil seals leaking ..(Turbo intake line, gear box and hydraulic leak at clutch cylinder). Needing some extra maintenance to be done anyway, such as the overheads and DEF filter cleaning I took the big guy to Freightliner...

While the truck was in the shop my fuel pump decides to blow apart and blast little pieces of metal through the fuel system! H..O..L..Y..####!

I'm going have to continue this later.. Time to get moving again.. Currently In Ludlow CA heading to Atlanta GA

That's one of the WORSE things about the Choice program.
Followed closely by miles paid and then trailer searches.

Detention..Schneider has no respect for our time.
You can bet they're charging from hour 2 if not the 1st.

Still it's the best game in town..just saying.

Your right. (I'm not yet on the IC program. In October I will be tho.) No company is perfect but from what I can see, SNI Choice is about as close as it comes. IMO

To make a long story short the truck was in the shop for 2 weeks getting these repairs.. The good news is fuel pump picked the best place to go out and that it was $13000 in repairs with seals etc covered under warranty..Whew!

I ended up paying $2900 for all the maintenance, overhead adj, DEF filter, oil etc..

    Hey Hey!!

Hope you all are having an awesome 4th!:usa2:

Rolling in the Midwest these days, Last week I went home and we celebrated our 4th BBQ and fireworks early. They always do fireworks the week prior over the lake behind my house it's a great show so it works out best for us to just invite friends and family over for a BBQ and I get to spend time with everyone all at once!

Before going home I was out here in the Northeast and Midwest running weary trying to schedule a load to Cali or anywhere west. It wasn't looking good so I said, "screw it"!! Parked the truck in Indy and flew :Liner:home! Let someone else do the flying for a change. It was cheaper than running a heavy $1.09 load to Cali.. Jeeesh! Loads going West as of late been suck-ingggg! Heard someone the other day say it is starting to pick up (loads going west) so will see how it goes and maybe later next month I will run the truck home. For now I'm enjoying myself out here in the Midwest and Northeast..Right now I'm running couple of short loads in Indian then on Monday heading to PA and then up to CT.. Will have see if I can find Sadwar out there..lol

    Roll or Bust Baby!
    Keep it safe!
