Rolled out of bed at 4 am and been going none stop today..2 major traffic jams, (parked on freeway for 30 mins) heavy rain. This load was one of those critical delivery deals, had 9 hours to get my load from point A to point B. 400 miles I thought it would be a cake walk with 9 hrs but with all the traveling hoopla I just made it with about 10 mins to spare. Day is done now, woohoo! Get up and do it again tomorrow!
In PA, Oh the joys! Rain and construction back ups.. Not to bad tho, kept it moving.. Checking the load board and it's not looking so good for me. Going to wait and see what pops tomorrow! Hammer down! Safe and legally..
And back! Made delivery in CT..Still nothing much from the load gods.. Will probably bounce around here a bit.. Every time I come out this way I swear people over here drive their cars high on crack! Was cut off several times, 3 to 4 near collisions up ahead of me by people driving erratically traveling faster than traffic and jumping lanes ..Had one guy give the good ole flip me the bird a couple times because I had to get into left lane to exit.. All this in the last 150 miles..Amazing!!.. Bunch of mad ##### out here! I grew up in CT.. So I was one of them at one point in life ..
I know what your talkin about. I think Jersey is the worst. It's like Nascar. I just move right, slow down and keep a lot of room in front of me. I'll get there.
