Running With Schneider - 2 (As IC Choice for more than a year now!)

Back over in PA now, Hauled a 16000lb load of pottery back over here! Tomorrow, heading back to Ohio.

 

Yeah I haven't traveled that route sense ..uhmmm let me think here ..longggg time! Why? Because I can..

 

Went to Ohio then turned right around back into PA, then back out to KY.. Dropping this load I'm currently on then 2 more short loads totaling about 200 miles tomorrow and I'm done for the day. Tuesday start over again

My crazy dispatcher (that would be me) thought it would be a good idea to deliver a load at 4am so found myself with some extra time, sitting here wide awake waiting for them to unload me. I'm out of my usual running area down here in Good ole Texas!

Been running as IC now for 2 and 1/2 years and still enjoying it! Summer has been awesome! Good revenue and just taken it easy! Other than a flight home in late June have not seen much of the house these days! That is my choice! For one it is not all that easy routing home to the west during July and parts of August. Two, I just prefer to keep the revenue up without taking a pay cut for 2-3 weeks running home into the west and back out..

Been seeing more loads now going west that pay a little better so decided to go ahead and take the truck home this time. Got a route heading toward home but had to book out 7 loads, a week and a half of running before I get there! Heading back into the east then south and then out to UT! From there will probably take a cheap load down southern CA.
Didn't fly home this time because I'll be picking up the wife and fur butt kid so we can spend some extra time together and tour around a bit! "Just doing it my way"

shhh ttt ..My very next load cancelled and couldn't come up with a filler load so scratched all those loads ..Back to the planning board, got a long weekend coming and no loads..now I'm scrambling to put something together

 

Took awhile clear my head but found some decent loads and booked myself up til Tuesday. Will end up with my average revenue for the week, life is good again!
