west coast. not gonna put to much info because there are schneider trolls. but I'm becoming very unhappy very quickly with the rates being as low as .50 cents a mile. Im feeling like iam paying to have a job.I'm starting to think it was a bad decision to get in business with a company thats in the business of financing trucks. wouldn't be surprised they get dibs on the best freight so they can pay back there loans or lease payments. just my observation.

    atruckr Thanks this.

Yeah you made a mistake... You should have research the west coast for the choice program. Btw rates suck out there for any company.

    atruckr and drvrtech77 Thank this.

so the answer is to go where the better paying freight is. Atruckr doesnt stay west coast. or western 11 for that matter. Gotta get east of the rockies. I think has parks his truck at a midwest OC then flies home when he chooses to go home.

thats another thing, how often are you trying to be at home? Running area, TAH needs/wants play a huge role in how a driver does.

and a landstar guy never gets off the 5
so all companies are not all things to everyone
I can make a lot of money in Uraquay but I live in WI
so you buy a truck live in CA and go drive around New England because that is better freight lanes?
something wrong with the business model

West coast rates suck for dry van freight everwhere, not just Schneider.
You seem to have missed my point. That is your 2000 mile exaggeration, lol.

    drvrtech77 Thanks this.

    stupid is as stupid does
if you can make the job work where you live it is a good job
    if not it isn't
SNI seems to have freight lanes that work for some people
Blue Ogre seems to make I5 freight lanes work for him
i am just a stupid company driver wondering what all the fuss is about
