Yes, I ran south to Page yesterday, had to detour east a little bit, then routed onto 20 (Temp 89 according to the signs). 20 is around 35 miles long, give or take a bit, and once you get past the initial hill, the pavement is brand new.

Just wondering what kind of trucks do they lease? Automatics/manuals? Also is it Lease to own?

Manuals is all I have seen. They may have or be able to lease an Automatic, not sure. Recruiter can tell ya..

You can lease for a year and walk away or keep it and pay it off. Or lease to purchase with a 3 year contract and balloon payment at the end which you probably refinance that portion and it will end up being a 4 to 5 year contract to pay the truck off. There is other options now i am sure too.

Lots of Freightliners, also some Peterbilts and Kenworths and a few oddballs here and there. Sometimes they take a truck on a trade (like mine I imagine) and have something totally different from most of the other trucks in terms of the specs. Yes they do have autos sometimes, just gotta call and see. You can do whatever you want with the lease - 1, 2, 3, 5 year lease periods, balloon at the end of each, either give it back at the end of the lease or you can refinance the balloon and keep leasing, upgrade to a newer truck and lease that, or pay off the balloon and own the truck - its up to you.

Does the balloons depends on the age of the truck or depends on the lease?

Both - older (cheaper) truck will have a lower balloon payment, and if you have a longer lease, the balloon payment will be lower as well because by the time the longer lease term is up you have paid off more than you would have a shorter lease.

Made the delivery in Phoenix, dropped load and for whatever reason they wanted me to go to the SNI OC to pick up an MT trailer. There were plenty of MT's at my delivery but the yard wasn't far away so, whatever.. no big deal!

Grabbed the next load and on my way back to Fontana Cali area. Have picked out 3 more loads that basically run a circle around my house..Lol. Should be able stop by the house on Friday..All drop and hook high paying shorty's .Will see how it goes..

The benefit of a SFI lease is that you actually pay down the note and always know the payoff. Its not like some companies where you never work towards owning the truck.
