Thats for sure on being Bankrupt. I am an older Owner Operator. Tired of running my butt off and not getting any home time. But let me tell you running for them I was tired of being broke everytime I came home. I thought the dedicated run would give me some free time to do the things I wanted now that I am older in my 50s. But when you are too broke to do anything but sit, thats no fun either. I like having a roof and food to much to work for those people. I would think twice my friend before I went to work for Rush Trucking.

When u put the pencil to it they're operating on money owed to u.Basically floating on your money for a short time if only for week or so.Because u bought fuel to move the ld and got it delivered, they get paid and hold your fuel out and pay u in 3 weeks.Good for them and bad for u.:biggrin_25523:

You have every right to know the health and well being of a company you are considering working for. As they will ask you for all your personal information I will argue they (the company) in return owe you some information relation to their financial viability and your future.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND CHECK THEM OUT B4 YOU SAY YES!

My brother works for Rush as a driver, he says they are not that bad. You have to stay on top of the dispatcher if you want work. He's getting 2k to 2500 miles a week. They will run you, but the minute you back off a load then you go back to sitting and waiting. Your first check wont arrive for 3 weeks. They also seem to be pretty good about fixing something if you report it. Like I said he's not a o/o just drives for them.

I drive for an o/o at rush in wayne mi, dedicated runs are a promise but they dont last long before they give you an excuse and your on another run. They are not to organized. Seems to me they loose alot of loads as they send you all over and tell you your dedicated. There is a reason they are allways hiring o/o and drivers. They have the potential but wrong team behind the desks.

No, if I'm not mistaken, most stuff comes off after 7 years. Not everything though.
