Headed to Bristol in the morning. I got all my stuff bought today. Found a nice used auxiliary tank on CL. Got my registered weight raised to 26k. I'm not gonna get the tank put in before this trip. Thanks for your help. Have a safe trip to Canada.

I stopped by there today on my way to get another tailer to drop off my magnets and plate but the new gate was locked, maybe another time.
That yard is packed.
New Fed law about hands free too for commercial drivers.

 

Delivered a 28 ft bumper pull in Austin this morning. Got my auxiliary tank put in today. Back at the milk route tommorow and Monday. Then head back up Tues for another one. Nikki was just as nice as she could be. I think she was da@*n glad to have someone show up to get a trailer out of there...lol. Thanks for the cell phone reminder.

 

So you got to deliver a trailer on a Saturday, unheard of!
I have to use my truck for other things so I can't put in a tank.
But I also dont mind getting out every 6 to 8 hours either.
It just costs alittle more every now and then but thats what gasbuddy.com is for.
You will get a check from her within a week also.

I don't know. I have a Wal Mart credit card I try to use at Murphy's for .10 discount at the pump if there not too far off the road. They usually have the lowest price around NE Tx anyways.

 

Since I live in RV/CAMPER mecca I have been seeing a LOT of adds trying to recruit drivers in the local papers. I guess things are picking up but I doubt the rates will change.

I have been getting diesel for $3.60 a gallon in Mi. (Admiral, Three Rivers, 10 miles north of Bristol)
It was even $3.39 for a while in mid state.
$4.09 in New York.
