Safety groups call for 60 mph speed limiters on trucks

    I don't have an issue with speed limiters, but 60 is too slow. I think there should be a cap at like 75. Then the driver still has the option to drive at a speed he or she is comfortable with up to that point. If drivers still can't be satisfied with that, then God ####

    So are they going to right a ticket for 70 in a 70 zone if you’re supposed to be governed at 60?

    Hey people arguing even on this forum , that face driver cameras are good thing.
    So 60 MPH it should not be a problem:)

    What would that be?
    A lot of these new trucks kick out of gear on a down hill. I see a large revenue stream if they can right a ticket even if you’re not speeding.

    That's easy. If all trucks are required to be governed at 60. They'll make it a national speed limit. Problem solved. :rolleyes:
