I just read about the "Safety Halo" - It is described below. In the danger zone, if one is to immobilize the fork lift within 3 ft/1m of people, how do you load a truck? There should always be someone near you when you are loading a trailer.
- The Danger Zone (3 ft / 1 m): the operator must immobilise the forklift to prevent any injury
- The Warning Zone (6 ft / 2m): requires equal focus by both the operator and pedestrian. Both must make eye contact; the pedestrian must indicate their intentions; and the operator is required to yield the right of way,

Actually no. No one should be with a forklift inside a trailer.
Drivers have been mashed by forklifts and loads they carry because they were inside a trailer with them. CRUNCH. Hose off the gore and move on with the next one.
The old motors they ran on gas or propane, you breathe that stuff in and if you had a preexisting problem that is not detected yet, you drop, tow motor runs over you backing up and that's that.
The saftey people are excessively fond of preaching things to help make for a safer work force.

I will bite. Why should there always be someone near you when loading a truck?
