Safety Vest, do you wear one?

That's good.Well in all fairness to your other post,women do worry about fashion but with safety vest I could care less,none is really fashionable.But if you wanna buy one at a sporting store they're spendy but nicer then the freebies we receive.

 

Actually wearing a safety vest is a good habit to get intnce I start driving again,im going to do just that.It'll be part of my attire when reporting to work.

 

Idk, I think people that are distracted enough to plow into you won't notice a safety vest.

Maybe but you're more likely to see that far away then someone not wearing a vest.

 

When I worked at Walmart, the safety coordinator always got on to us for not wearing the safety vest while on the forklift. I felt like telling him "Wow, I only avoided getting run over by the forklift with flashing lights, back up alarm and horn because the operator was wearing a safety vest said no one ever! "

 

I have a bunch too. At this point I don't know what to do with them. We could give them to Goodwill and make a new fashion statement.

 

There ya go and they would appreciate them too.HillBros gave me a real nice one with pockets and Hill Bros emblem,

 

And those you do see will have them dutifully placed no more than 30' from the rig. Like signaling turns, some people can only be persuaded to conduct the ceremony w/o a thought for legal requirements or usefulness.

Back to safety vests, people routinely run into trucks and cops w/lights blazing on the shoulder. The natural state of motorists is "distracted". Visual perception is nowhere near as reliable as it seems.

I only wear a safety vest when I have sex. That way I know I'm having safe sex.
