    Hi folks,
    I have been looking at Sage in Billings. Unfortunately Montana does not have any state or fed assisted schooling they only
    let third party private schools offer training for CDL's and the only schools for CDL in Montana are Sage. Unless I am missing something
    in my research Sage is it.
    I would love to hear some feedback from grads and currant students that have or are going to the Sage school in Billings.
    What are your thoughts and opinions, the good, bad and ugly whatever you can tell me would be great.
    I have talked with the head instructor and he sounds like a good guy. This will be my first choice in schools since they are just down the street from me.

    I researched and spoke with the Sage in Denver (Henderson, CO).
    They're national and are "accredited" with the major carriers.
    Been around forever.
    They emphasis one on one time in the truck.
    Class can be anywhere from 3 to 15 students and lasts 3-4 weeks.
    Price was about $4300, but most of the companies will reimburse this over time ($25 per week up to $3500, etc).
    The "ladies" in recruiting/admin said they were a little slow right now, but always have students.
    (They weren't very personable. How do these people get and keep their jobs, I don't know.)

    My impression of them is that they're fine, as good as any.
    There are no companies out there that will say, "We won't hire students from Sage."
    They have a proven system that seems to work.
    It seems your choices are limited anyway, so I'd go for it.

    Subscribed and will be watching this thread as well. Granted, I'm about five hours away, but that's "close" in Montana.

    I went through Podunk a wile back. Thats that little town with the bar on the conner, yep remember it well..:biggrin_25519:
