    I was being sarcastic meaning more people. then not depend on GPS.Some don't even know how to read a map.

    Go to Vegas and head down that way if your truck is running hot. It's way flatter and actually not a bad drive. 89 has some pretty good hills and so does I17 south of Flagstaff. Pretty drive though. I usually go that way unless it's winter

    Older drivers say Atlas. It's important to them. I get it. But honestly I threw mine away after a year of it just taking up space. Hate me if you want!

    You can get lost using either. If you are looking at a GPS you're reading a map.

    And 89, it's really a no brainer, as you'll run into traffic/weather/idiots in varying degrees on either road.

    I understand that very well. I even misspelled a word in the post; "a 6 looked line an 8" instead of "a 6 looked like an 8." Maybe I need new glasses again.
