Talk to our contractors. If you can't find one on the road you can find them on our Face book page. There are a good number that visit regularly and will be more than happy to answer your questions. You can talk to recruiting too.

Thank you Sammonsrecruiter....
I have already talked to recruiting, and have checked out FB page,,thanks for the info.
I have a friend that will be doing the LP deal in a month so I will get the info first hand from him on that... -
Maybe I should look harder, but I never see a Sammons truck. The LP video on the web site sounds good, but it doesn't go into the trucks being offered and what the trailer is gonna run. Running Flatbed right now and am pretty happy with this outfit, but being an O/O has always been appealing. Having a better idea of the equipment could help in judging the profitability of the operation.

The trucks I have now are 2008 and 2009 KW T660 with Cummins ISX, 13 speeds and 3:36 rears. They look like the burgandy one on our home page. We run flats and steds with the L/P fleet so your choice.

My buddy will take the other one.
SheepDog Thanks this. -
The Coronados are nice. We have commitments to another 20 Kenworths this year. I don't think we'll be able to get them for you.

Just do your research on sammons, they have you sit alot (FOR DAYS) and don't pay for deadheading and there a lot of that from what i here because they don't have alot of work. Might wanna look into lone star transportation or ats they have alot of work all over. I was trying too get on with sammons lp program before i did any research, they make it sound so good on there youtube video, Thank God they did'nt hire me or i would really be kicking myself right now.

roaddawg92 Thanks this. -
Every one that drives for Sammons is an independent contractor. Of course we don't pay for deadheading we pay percentage. As for sitting for days the contractors choose what they take and can choose from our load board what 50 of our agents have and if they want they can take a load they find themselves. With us it's not about the miles it's about the revenue, the work smarter not harder mentality. The fleet will average $188,000 for the year. We can be quite particular on who we put on so I'm sorry we couldn't put you on but if you haven't worked with us maybe you don't have the correct information.
