Anyone else waiting for this? http://www.samsung.com/global/galaxys3/

I am not particularly a fan of smartphones, but do need faster access to the internet than my air card via laptop. Was going to buy a Galaxy S2 HD LTE, but they decided not to release it. Am guessing this version was coming too soon?

Anyway, the main draw for me is the 4.8" screen. Should be able to see load boards & the battery is removable/replaceable.

T-Mobile just released the HTC 1s loaded with Android 4.0 ICD. Thin as the Iphone and the equal to or better than the Samsung Galaxy 2. Thinking about buying one tomorrow if I have time.

The Samsung Galaxy 2 is better pixel wise but i think HTC 1s screen is more vibrant than the Samsung Galaxy 2. The battery is not better since its smaller but its decent .

I got the S2 Skyrocket refurbished from ATT for $20 when I reupped and I love it. Great camera, crystal display and fast? Any bigger(4.5) and it wouldn't fit in my pocket. I gave my iPhone to my 8 year old. He likes toys.

The main draw back to the HTC One X is the battery is not removable. So if it dies, you cannot fix it easily. Think some were mentioning the sd card was not removable either. The battery is my issue with it.

Had thought about that $20 refurb skyrocket, then they said the HD version would have a larger screen. It went through the FCC approval process, just got ditched at the last minute. So since what ever I get will be in a 2 year contract, will wait for the S3.

Got this a couple weeks back, Call quality is great & battery is better than I expected. Tethered to my laptop in Aurora, CO when my air card/mifi unit would not pick up signal. That was the first & only place I had issue with that thing, but thankfully the S3 connected right up.

So I have to keep this thing due to that aspect alone. But honestly do not understand peoples fascination with these things. I dig all the specs & things of that nature, just the rest seems useless for the money spent.
