He didn't know the women's names, but could do drawing of their faces that were so good, the police could match the drawings to over 90 missing women.
Had talent. Most serial killers are very intelligent the only exception was Henry Lee Lucas..he was as bright as a box fulla rocks.
Lucas claimed to have killed something like 600 people. After he confessed to two murders the local police began clearing out their unsolved murder files by getting him to “confess” to murders he couldn’t have physically been present at. He got press and special food/treatment and kept on confessing to murders all over the place. There is a great show on Netflix about him called “The Confession Killer”. The Story of Henry Lee Lucas, the Notorious Subject of Netflix’s 'The Confession Killer'
I read about this guy years ago. There was a publication written by a couple of retired FBI profilers that said this guy threw everyone for a loop and changed the way they profile serial type cases. He was really the first black male serial killer and they did not even consider or know to look for that because all serial killers up to that point were mainly white males. This guy’s killing pattern and style for the lack of a better word was very interesting to read about. His visual memory is amazing. Sad he was an evil person.
