Call the Pleasanton terminal and talk to Georgia if you're still interested; I know Joe is about to hire a few drivers. I'm hoping that I'm one of them.

Helllo driver. I was wondering what was the name of the company that you started working for that is located in George West. I was researching a company that is in George West, and if the money is not what they promised you then I dont want to waste my time. Also I heard a lot of bad things about Goldspur. However I have a buddy over there, and he says that he is making good money.

@ Ben Gunn could you be kind and tell me the name of the company in George West that doesn't have as much work as you was made to believe. I too have been made to believe that there was work in George West & I dont want to waste my time. Thanks & I have heard mixed reviews about Gold Spur. A lot of drivers tell me that they cheat you out of your money (maybe its a human error/maybe not). But I have a close friend who has been working for Gold Spur, and he claims that he is making good money. However it is his second stint with them. I didn't ask him why he left the first time, but he's back with them.

If you are just wanting work in George West check out Compass Well Services. We have hauled a lot of sand for them and they are a lot better to sand drivers than the others. Share their food and such. Will hire and train you to frac.

I feel your pain, Ben; as you know, I work for the same company and am currently logging way under 40/week. Getting a little desperate...the fact that I've only been driving for a little over 4 months is hampering the crap out of me in finding a new job. Willing to relocate, but the hours have to be there in order for me to up and move.

Hey Ben, any luck on finding some work in the San Antonio area? Personally I think if things fell off here I might consider heading down to Corpus. I like OK but I get the feeling if this job runs out my wife would rather tank crude in S TX. She is not a big fan of driving in snow or dodging tornadoes, LOL!!
