Worked as lease operator for sandbox in TX. This is by far the worst company have ever worked for. They treat the truck drivers like garbage and have zero respect for the drivers. They have no problem making their truck drivers wait for 12-24 hours on a consistent basis. Several drivers had to sit and wait for 60 hours because the well shut down and you cant leave because then you lose your place in line. It is a free for all. They crowd the wells and send as many trucks to the well as they can at one time then make you sit and wait. Their rates are the lowest in the entire country. The coordinators talk down to the truck drivers and treat them like garbage. The management is corrupt and evil to the core. They hire contractors that are cheating people out of hundreds of thousands of dollars knowing full well what is going on. This does not align with the Silicas core values of integrity and honesty. Unless you are starving and have absolutely zero other options for work this should be the last place you consider looking for work. This company needs to be shut down and fast.

They treat their company drivers better as their sand box drivers go to the front of the line even if youve been waiting 12 hours to offload.

Since someone else necromanced the thread, I'll chime in on these from years back:
Quick math: 24 * 40 + 36 * 35 = $2220 gross average per week, or $115,440.
And that was with a now-defunct oilfield "mega," MBI.rabbiporkchop and JoeyJunk Thank this.
