You might want to try the oilfield section.

Worked as lease operator for sandbox in TX. This is by far the worst company have ever worked for. They treat the truck drivers like garbage and have zero respect for the drivers. They have no problem making their truck drivers wait for 12-24 hours on a consistent basis. Several drivers had to sit and wait for 60 hours because the well shut down and you cant leave because then you lose your place in line. It is a free for all. They crowd the wells and send as many trucks to the well as they can at one time then make you sit and wait. Their rates are the lowest in the entire country. The coordinators talk down to the truck drivers and treat them like garbage. The management is corrupt and evil to the core. They hire contractors that are cheating people out of hundreds of thousands of dollars knowing full well what is going on. This does not align with the Silicas core values of integrity and honesty. Unless you are starving and have absolutely zero other options for work this should be the last place you consider looking for work. This company needs to be shut down and fast.

They probably treat their company drivers better as they go to the front of the line while the leased truck drivers have to sit and wait. This should definitely be the last stop in the employment line for anyone looking for work.

Since someone else necromanced the thread, I'll chime in on these from years back:
I didn't know anyone was making that little up there. I hauled water from June 2014- June 2015, based in Ross, ND. I averaged 75 hours per week (5/1 shift, 6p-6a, minimum 10 hr break if working late) at $24/hour non-exempt (that means overtime was paid).

    Quick math: 24 * 40 + 36 * 35 = $2220 gross average per week, or $115,440.

And that was with a now-defunct oilfield "mega," MBI.

    rabbiporkchop and JoeyJunk Thank this.
