Anyone familiar with Sandusky? Have a drop there tomorrow morning and trying to find a place to park tonight. Nearest truck stop I can find is near 50 miles away around Toledo.

there is also another one by exit 91 on the turnpike, I am guessing that would be closer to Sandusky than the other one.

I'll be coming from the Toledo side. Thought there was something near Fremont but can't find it listed anywhere.

if your on the turnpike, there is a travel plaza going east past exit 91. Depending on time of day, you should be able to find some parking. Otherwise I couldn't find anything. Where abouts in Sandusky?

The only thing I know of around Sandusky is a Wendy's. I believe it is off of route 2 just west of Sandusky. I normally just stay in Stony Ridge (T5) there off of the toll road, exit 71 and shoot out towards Woodville to Sandusky on route 2.

If you get on the toll road, the service plazas have free showers, but you need your own soap and towel. Just in case you didn't know.

Yeah, the free showers surprised me the first time I saw that.

    Sandusky News is the drop.

There used to be a ratty truck stop just below the Fremont exit. I'd also bet that this time of year the Cedar Point parking lot would be absolutely empty because the rides are shut down for winter. Don't know if you can park there though.
