I think the closest "truckstop" to Santa Fe is the Shell (I think)at the US550 interchange in Bernalillo. I don't know if any of the Walmarts in town allow overnight parking. Santa Fe is a hippie artsy town and isn't especially truck friendly. Your other options are the truckstops in Albuquerque or the rest area just south of Santa Fe on I-25 north.

    gerardo1961 Thanks this.

Never been to that truckstop but you'll have some cool nights in that neck of the woods. I love summer nights in Northern NM.

There are a couple of places around Las Vegas, NM.....one on the north end of town and another south of town. If you take US 84 west of Santa Rosa, that will get you to Las Vegas, then it's an hour down to Santa Fe. I don't know if the places in Las Vegas have showers or TV rooms, but there are places to park. I lived in Santa Fe, and it is very difficult to maneuver a truck around town. There is a Wal-Mart on Cerrillos, also a Sam's Club on Rodeo. Some of those streets are 400 year old trails that have been paved over. Casinos north of town on US 84/285 going toward Espanola. Where do you have to deliver?

St. Michaels is one of the better streets in Santa Fe.......wide from Cerrillos to St. Francis. St. Francis is also US 84/285. I imagine you'd be able to park at Cities of Gold in Pojoaque or the one in Tesuque. I've never been to the Buffalo Thunder.
