Sapp Bros., Council Bluffs, I-80, exit 1 - Torn up, no water

The water was shut off just for that day. they had to move the watermain. the restaurant will be closed most of the summer cause they have to move it.
the street will be 5 lanes when the project is completed.

I imagine the PEElot across the street is impacted by the road work as well...

 

Cheyenne was like that for awhile, few years back

 

your going to like the new remodel on the restarunt once they get done. Denver did thiers a few years ago, then Omaha, . Salt Lake last year.
Very nice.

 

their weak coffee was more of an inconvienence. it's too hot to taste untill you are down the road.

 

The coffee in Denver never had that problem, but yeah... I did cross the street more than once to indulge in the coffee at the competition's location rather than deal with that colored peewater.

 

And hopefully there will be a light at the exit from the Peelot, but somehow I doubt it, we're just truck drivers, we don't matter enough for that.

 

I like Sapp Bros more than most truck stops. Not usually crowded, free wifi, and they have those chuckwagon sammiches in the fridge. Low key is good in this case.
