I have been too many of these truckstops all across the U.S. I can think of many that are great, some that are okay, and some that are real bad. One that comes to mind that i use to frequent when pulling oversize is the Sapp Bros in Fremont Nebraska off hwy 30. Medium size lot, but quiet safe place. Some of the bigger truck stops i enjoy are probably some of ya'lls also. Bosselmans T/S in Grand Island,NE, Petro's in Joplin,Mo, York,NE, Oak Grove,MO, Kingdom city, MO, Iowa 0, Walcott,Ia, and many other off breed T/S in mainly the Midwest, West Coast. Hucks T/S in Mt Vernon,ILL.

I would throw the Sapps in Denver on the crap list. I started favoring shopping centers just to get away from the overcrowded truck stops. But a couple that stick out in my mind as favorites are bosselman. The Choctaw travel plaza in Durant OK. Big Cabin, OK the Flying J in Limon CO. Ports to Plains in Lamar. West Wendover Casinos. There are alot more but these are at the top of my list.

Was parked at a roped off fuel pump in TA Denver when the security guard with a gun came out and told me to move it. Fine, backed out and went across the street to Sapp's. Soon as I pulled out another truck parked inthe same spot I left lol. Sapp , free internet if you park close enough.

No, the only Indian restaurant i am aware of in a truck stop. Is in Bakersfield, but i hear they closed down. It was across from the bakersfield t/s. I can't remember it's name.

Nighthawk. I do agree on some of your choices. I have seen that Big Cabin had remodeled some of their areas within the store. CB shop guy back in 1999 was a good guy, and did good work. Have not been in there in some years. Most all big chain T/S have gone to crap, or have been bought out by someone else. Look at Pilot. They bought the T/S in Belmont,AZ off of I-40 West of Flagstaff. The restaurant is gone. That is why i started going to the South side of the Highway to the Harley Bar, and Grill for something to eat, and park there. I agree the Iowa 0, and the Grand Island, NE Bosselman's are both huge parking lots, and the inside has a lot to offer. Newell T/S in Newell, KS of I-35 is a good T/S. Great Food in the restaurant.Nighthawk325 Thanks this.
