anybody have the scoop on these guys? i`ve heard they were pretty decent to lease on with. i went to their site and couldn`t find out what they are paying. i don`t think they have an age resstriction on tractors and was told they will help you get a trailer if you don`t have one. still up in the air on what i`m going to do, lease on with them and haul potatoes, haul bags of dirt for earthgrow out of medway ( direct shipper), or buy a dump trailer and haul hot top. any input will be apreciated.

I lived in Easton, Me and was good friends with a driver that ran for Sargent. I lived caddy-corner to Von, Im not sure if he owns Sargent or is just a broker for them, and I snowmobiled with few of the guys over there. I never worked for them, but everyone I met that had anything to do with them, were great people. Typical good, stand-up guys from "The County". I think Von has several trucks leased on to his authority (he may own Sargent, i dont know, he may just ??? for them) but, he is the best guy. He hired me to do some work for him at his home (very modest home, nothing fancy at all) and paid me very fair and as he said he would. We also rode our Harleys together with some other guys in town.

I cant imagine you could go wrong with anyone from Aroostook county. Those are good people up there.
