I just got the SiriusXM Onyx.
Love it.
Don't love the magnet mount little antenna, though. Very few places to mount it on this '13 Volvo I have now. Even the mirror mount hardware is non-magnetic.
I ended up sticking it to my CB, behind the windshield. It would cut out very often in the L.A. area. Any underpass or near any power lines, and sometimes with nothing around.
So I bought the 'better' antenna.
And yes, it works much better.
I would be parallel to power lines for miles, go through underpasses, be in areas that even my Qualcom had no signal - and I had a clear signal.
Except for when I got to Oregon on I-5.
Maybe it's all the trees and hills, or maybe the cloud cover, but it cuts out a lot here.
I guess it could be because of all the Oregonians that wear tinfoil hats, though.![]()

I have the Wilson. Be careful as the cable will easily seperate from the connector on the antenna end with minimal force.

Having many connectivity possibilities is beneficial since a decent radio is versatile. Bluetooth is a handy feature that makes it simple to connect your phone wirelessly so you can stream music and make hands-free calls. Not to mention useful for wired connectivity, is a USB port.

I gave up on the standalone radio heads and garbage antennas. I just run my SXM through the app. The only time mine ever cuts out is near the US/CAN border due to cell tower hopping. Many more stations to choose from on the app too.
