On a 2007 kentworth t2000 I've seen them mounted to that plastic piece that runs above the windshield. I currently have the antenna with the metal brackets. any help along with picture set ups would be appreciated

Just mount it on one of your stock studs for your factory antennas. Easy as you can get.

    Nakmuay Thanks this.

I just got a SiriusXM unit from Walmart that comes with an antenna that is supposed to be "magnetic mount".
Doesn't stick to anything as far as I can tell.
I am supposed to mount it outside the vehicle somewhere.
    Where is a good spot?
On top of the side mirror?
    On the Qualcomm bubble?
The wire is long enough for me to mount it on the top of the cab if I could get up there....lol.
For now I just set it on the dash.
Gets great reception just as long as I am driving South. lol.
