    All it takes is the slightest bit of unrest in the Middle East, and the price for a barrel of oil goes up because of......speculators. Saudi Arabia has already told the U.S that they would make up for any shortage from Libya.

    BTW...ND is about the only state that begging for workers...

    Hmmm....Oil money....it might be "dirty".....It might not be PC.....But it sure the hell spends just right.....

    And yet the Bakken and the monster oil find that is under the Bakken layer are not in the media.
    In my area they are developing a monster find too. Other than local media that is not in the news.

    The media with complacent libs are continuing to allow the masses to believe that we don't have much of our own reserves and are reliant on costly over seas supplies.

    the speculators are the reason the oil prices are going up, up and up. the same speculators that ran up house prices. the arabs can ship all the oil they have and it wouldn't do a bit of good because we don't have the capabilities to refine it. the last refinery was built around 1968. greedy ### speculators are the problem. we drill oil here and ship it to where ever so the speculators can get their greedy hands on it.
    our nation needs to go back to the gold standard and we need to build about 15 new refineries and that would do a lot of good.
