Meet Diohgee, he's here for a trial run to see how he likes the nomadic lifestyle.

She’s cute, my Chihuahua was raised with cats, She’d love to swap some sniffs with him. Lol. Animals are so amusing and entertaining. Hope He works out good, on the Truck. My older Chihuahua used to shake nervously, never relaxed. It took a while, now She loves it, I just mention the Truck, and She’s ready to go. Lol. The younger one runs and hides. It’s hilarious. Enjoy.

I think the difficult part will be getting him to go over to the wife while I'm driving. He's already made up his mind about who belongs to him.

Wife's daughter took in a stray that had kittens. This one took to us the best out of the three that were left. Someone thinks I need companionship when they aren't on the truck....LoL

I keep thinking of taking my cat on the road with me but have a few concerns.
    1) Not enough room for the cat to be comfortable.
    2) Harness training and finding one that they can't get out of.
    3) People that don't leash their dogs.
    4) Hotels that allow cats.

The litter box should be fine. I currently use the litter genie and you can't smell anything.
I was thinking of bear fogger in case a dog wants to attack.
Those of you with cats, tell us how you made it work and is the cat happy.

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Harnesses, by nature, are difficult to get out of. The one we bought, the leash hooks just behind the shoulder blades so there's no chance of him strangling himself. It's also just nylon straps, so it doesn't cause any extra heat retention.

I was also thinking that a long thin leash connected to something in the cab would be a good idea.
Clip it on the cat before opening the door for any reason.
The little buggers are quick and don't come when called.
I think I'd lose my job before I'd abandon my cat at a truck stop.

    Rideandrepair and HoneyBadger67 Thank this.
