Because phone calls interrupt the audio book, and because I can still hear the engine. Running it through my radio requires it to be turned up loud in order for me to hear it.

I have the 250 as well, and going on 3 years now. I only have to charge it once a week. Only problem I ever had was when my first one got soaked in hydraulic fluid when my RGN blew a hose. Luckily my boss shelled out for a new one then. It's a little long in the tooth (no mic foam either, and on my third ear foam thingy) but still works great.
I'll definitely get another when it kicks the bucket. You guys have me intrigued by the 350 now....LOL
Just an FYI- I got both mine off Amazon, and paid roughly $45-$50 less than truckstop prices.... -

Mine is 3 years old and still works like the day I bought it.
Too bad it is so bulky. Only put it on when I use it.
Too uncomfortable to just leave it on.
Plus it looks ridiculous. -
I have 2 -250xt +, 4yrs/6months. Forgot the charger at the house once and just bought another one. Nice to have a backup when it starts beeping low battery. They work great and not a single issue.

Things have been going okay with the 350. I will say I like the way the 250 fit my head better but maybe that's just me getting used to something new. The plastic piece that's opposite the earpiece and mic spins 360 very easily. I don't like that, it's hard to get on one handed. But on the other hand the buttons are more positive, there is not as much cord to get in your way when it's off your head. I'm happy with my purchase.
joseph1135 Thanks this.
