I am a new driver and this may be a stupid question but do you have to go thru weigh stations if you are bobtailing

It definitely is. My first day out with a trainer, I almost by-passed one (our Pre-Pass didn't beep) because we were bobtailing. He yelled, I got the hint and pulled in at the last minute, all was well.

ahhh lets see Lisc. registration fuel permits little stuff like that and Oh yea if the truck or plates have been reported stolen it will ring a BIG bell in the chicken house for sure. Its not just for overeight and they can also inspect the truck all sorts of fun ya know...
