Well it would be a dull world without the Pete's and kenworths, if only they'd adopt some European build quality and technology! If they did ...no European manufacturer could match that combination, no regen, long wheelbase, full cab suspension, conventional with US style sleeper, unrivaled crash protection, 700hp+ v8and synchronised tranny.....imagine!

 

Well ......I think a 379 is like a 1970's agricultural tractor but even some of my irish friends think they look fabulous , I'm more function than form, I think they look good despite the age of the design ( new one coming next year ) besides ..I couldn't care less how it looks outside once the interior is nice , it's quiet, loads of power, light on fuel and I get out at the end of the day feeling fresh I don't care if the exterior looks like a curly poo

 

theyre still very fond of those in the Netherlands

 

I've seen one today in Chicago. Conventional, white and green. It was pulling RGN type of trailer. I've seen them in NJ, NY area but never here.

 

Well, it was mostly white with green trim. I didn't get good look. It was going other way, and I was in the car. But it was a Scania.

 

Just did a little googling and came across some Mack site. Apparently that Scania is from Chicago area pulling low boy. I've also found a picture of Erb's Scania that I've seen before.
