    Buahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

    Good one, WCP
They dont understand US trucking a bit.

Lenny its about speed. Not weight. It sure is nice to BS with friends, but we do it at home, or on the cellphone when making money hammering in left lane

Have you ever been in Europe?
It's not a matter of regulations, we don't have the infrastructures to have longer cabs and trucks. They are discussing about 25 meters trucks but most countries already gave up, they would not be able to stop anywere. That scania with the long hood is useless in most european countries. it would have to pull shorter trailers, like the few american trucks around italy, and still they are really limited since they cannot get inside most cities and factories.
Do you know what it means to get stuck so badly that you have to call the firemans with the crane, ask the hundreds of foreign drivers that get stuck in italy or in england because they follow the gps. you can keep your longer trucks, the one i have is even too long for the likes of me.
This are just a few of the hundreds of video about foreigners getting stuck in italy:

I'll leave you with your lefty moderators, have fun bragging about Michael Moore next movie and those great weekends you spend in tiny truckstops because driving is not allowed over SAT & SUN

simple, because our law calculates the lenght of the trailer plus the lenght of the tractor, not like yours that calculates only the lenght of the trailer.
And since you wanted to know about O/O i took some picture of a few friends of mine that have old trucks still doing their jobs.
both of this trucks belong to operator working for my company, they are from the mid 80's and worked every single day since then, doing millions of km.I can take thousands of pictures of even older trucks still working
