You really are dumb, maybe you should have looked up how the VAT system works before you made more stupid comments! Christ I thought you were at home playing with your toy tractor? You constantly make stupid ilinformed comments with no relevance to reality still I missed the entertainment you bring with your sidesplitting stupidity!

As for the day cab quip; I got to see one of your 379 peterbilts up close ( for and Dutch subscribers ; it was a light blue pete, it was near Gouda in the parking area on the a12) I'll give it one thing, there is more cab storage ( especially room to hang up clothes)than a scania but the bed is only slightly wider, there is actually less room to move about than the scania, it was also Alot lower roof , So in about 12 feet of extra chassis you managed to get two small wardrobes extra? Are aero trucks better? A little I'd say! The driver station is tiny! And is absolutely horrible and primitive , dials randomly chucked everywhere, laced with horrible cheap plastics and little view out of the pitiful tiny windows, scania maybe more expensive but you can see where the money goes, I wouldn't have taken one of those pete's as a present!

    jardel Thanks this.

It doesn't matter for us the US truckers how GREAT the Scania trucks are simply because they are not available here. Come over become a Scania Dealer in the US so we all can see what you are talking about.

Well, you are so brainwashed by government you don't even care to learn what the VAT tax is. Just keep on paying it, like every dumb slave should.

Now, dig this - we don't have VAT tax here in States. We are way too smart to let it happen. How come you are paying every time you buy something as an end user?

The only explanation is that you all are idiots in Europe. They rip you of with crazy high taxes and provide nothing in exchange. Because you let them.... Morons. This Serbian guy wants even MORE socialism, whata clusterf*uck

as well our trucks are more expensive but most of that money goes in some kind of development

when i watch pictures and videos of US trucks they are even now very old fashioned

i can say that even first NG mercedes from 1973 have more modern technologies in some parts

like foot pedals for me those on US trucks look like on old agricultural tractors

here is first mercedes NG of my father he bought it in 1976 was 16L v10 engine very strong truck for overloadings latter in 1978 he bought facelifted model

those trucks were build strong they can take lot of load rear axle can handle 50000lbs

    those trucks are still alive

we have now one of latest model of them 1987
currently working 24hours/day , 7days per week for next two years loading gross weight 50ton,very hot weather lot of hills there is one hill truck is climbing in lowest gear with all diff locks and cross lock engaged average fuel consumption is 2-2.2mpg engine was never opened and always do similar jobs
    [IMG]

but there is nothing in those trucks except their loading capacity robustness and quality thats why development is
.....btw in 1979 mercedes 2632 6x4 tractor and 2axle tipper trailer cost 190 000DM in YU ( in germany half price)

    in all difference is development
